AND PRESCRIBING PASALTILS FOR VIOLATION OF ITS 111tOVISIONS.
The City Council of the city of Port Townsend do ordain as
follows:
Section I. Every peddler and every solicitor, before beginning{
." to peddle or solicit in the city of Port Tow nend,�oghall pay to
the Treasurer of oaid city a license fee of Xollars per day .
for.each::day, or -part of a day, thaj he or she mayvbe engaged in
peddling or soliciting, in said city, and upon prdoentation,of the

fine.not.less than fifty dollars nor more than :seventy five. dollars
for each offense, and each day upon which ouch person shall so.peddl$
or'solicit in violation of the terms of this ordinance shall be con-
strued to constitute a separate offense for which such person may be'
prosecuted and convicted.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published once in the "Port
Townsend Daily Leader", and shall take effect and be in force from .'
