AN ORD2NANCN amending section one (1) of Ordinance No 726, on -
titled "An Ordinance to prohibit certain animals from running at
large within certain limits in the city of Port Townsend; to pro-
vide for the impounding;, release and sale of such animals; to pro-
vido for the appointment of it city pound master and to fix his com-
ponsation and to prescribe his duties; to rogulato the koopingp im-
pounding, release and sale of such animals; to provide penalties for
hindering or- delaying the poundmaster in the discharge of any of
his duties and penalties for the violation of any of the provisions
of said ordinance", passed and approved March 19, 1907.
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend do ordain as.fol-
lows:
Sec. 1. TRat section 1 of ordinance No 726 entitled "An Ordi-.•..
nanco to prohibit; certain animals fro:n runnin6 at large within cart-
ain limits in the city of Port Tovm>;end; to provide for the impound-
ing, release and sale of such animals; to provide for the appoint-
ment of a city pound master and to fix .his compensation and to pro-
scribe his duties; to regulate the :cooping, impounding, release and.
sale of such animals; to provide penalties for hindering or delaying
the poundmaster in the discharge of any of his duties and penalties
for the violation of any of the provisions of said ordinance" passed
and approved March 19, 1907, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 1. That no Rattle, horse, ass, goat, mule, sheep, swing
nor any other domestic animal, oxceptinF; dogs duly licensed by this
city shull he permitted to run at large during any of the hours of
the day or the night, on any of the stroots, sidewalks, allays,
parks, or other public lands or, places, within the following limits:
Commencing at the point where San Juan Avenue or San Juun Av-
anus produced intersects extreme low tide mark; thence northerly
along said San Juan,Avenua to 18th street; thence west alone pith
