Ordinance No. 11—
AT? ORDIFA'!CP, amordinr sections four (4) and twenty --five (25)
of ordinance ":Io. 116 ontitled "An Ordinanco defining and proscrib-
inP; the punish of cortair. misdemeanors" passod by tho city council
April 31 1885 and approved by the mayor April 4, 1665.
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend do ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That socticn fnin- (4) of ordinance No. 116, rntitlod
"An Ordinance defining and proscribing the punishment of certain
misdemeanors" passed by the City Council April 3, 1885 and approved
by the mayor April 4, 1885, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 4. Whoever shall within the city draw any species of
firearms whether loadod or not, or any dirk, danger, knife or other
dangerous or deadly weapon on the person of another, or whoever shall
in any manner not, amounting to a felony, resist any city officer in
the discharge of his duties or interfere in any manner with the prop-
er discharge of such duties, shall be punished by a fine of not
more than one hundred dollars.
Sec.2. That section twenty--fivo (25) of said ordinance
Ido. 116 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec,25.71hoever shall wantonly destroy, cut, remove, deface, mark
or write upon or in any manner injure any fonco, pate, or any bridge
dwelling house, building, hitching post, awning, railing, or in any
manner injure or destroy any other kind of property whatever, or
whoever shall steal, take or carry away the property of another not
more
amounting to a felony shall be punished by a firm of not NIwax than
one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment rot exceeding thirty days,
or by both fine and imprisonment.
Sec. 3. That said sections four (4) and tvrenty-five (25) of
said ordinance No. 116, are hereby repealed.
