Sec.4. Immediately upon roceivini; the said assessment roll the
said city treasurer shallprshllsh a nottee in at least two conscc-
utive issues of the Daily Leader, not.tfyinp all norsons interested
that the said assessment roll is in his hands for collection, and
that the said assessment may be paid at any time within thirty days
after the first publication of said notice without interest or cost,
and the said treasures- shall also snail to each property owner or
his agent, a notice t?ivinr, a general description of the property
assessed, the asrount of the assessment on each description, and the
time within, which the same may be paid without interest or cost.
Sec. 5. That after the expiration of thirty days after the date
of the first publication of the troasurer's notice providod for in
the preceding section, the whole, assessment remaining unpaid shall
bear interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum, interest
payable annually, and if at any time any installment is not paid
when due together with such irtorest on the whole unpaid portion of
said assessment, the same shall he deemed to be delinquent and shall
be certified to the county treasurer for collection as provided by
law.
Sec. 6. It is hereby made the duty of the city treasurer
at least twenty days before any installment becomes clue to mail a
notice to each property ovrner or his anent, stating tho amount of

the installment, the amount of the interest due, riving the date
when the same becomes due and further stating that if the same is
not paid when due the same, will be certified to the county treasurer
for collection as provided by lari.
Seo.7. There is hereby created a fund to be known as Local
Improvernent Fund, District ho. 3, to the credit of which all moneys
collected on said assessment shall. he placed by the said treasurer.
