said assessment, and creating, Local Improvement Fund, District No.3.
The City Council of the City of Port 'Townsend cb ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That each parcii of land shown on the assessment
roll of Local Improvement District No. 3, filed with the city cleric

on the _ day of February, 1911, is hereby declared to be bon-
efited in the amount set opposite the description of such parcel on
said assessment roll in the column headed "Total Assessment after
Correction", and the said amounts so shown in said colu-nn on the said
assessment roll are hereby rospectivoly levied and assessed against
the various parcels of land shown and described on said assessment
roll and the said assessment roll is hereby approved.
Sec.2.That the said assessment shall. he payable in ton equal
annual installments, the first installment to become due and pay-
able, one year after the expiration of thirty days after the first
publication of notice by the city treasurer that the assessment roll
of said district is in his hands for collection, and annually there-
after dale,installment of such assessment shall become due and payable
Brovided, however, that any person desiring, to pay his whole as-
sossment in one payment may do so at any time within thirty days
after the first publication of hhe treasurer's notice hereinafter
prov1dod, without interest or cost, and may also at any time after
the expiration of said thirty days, pay the whole of any assessment
or the whole .of any unpaid portion of said assessment, by paying the
said assessment together with interest thereon as hereinafter pro-
vided, to the date of the next installment falling duo.
Soc.3. Immediately after the taking effect of this ordinance
the city cleric is hereby authorized and directed to cortify the said
assessment roll as the assessment roll of Local Improvement Distrit
