The City ronncil of the City of Port Townsend do ordain as
follows:
'goo. 1. That the; ruins of any house, stable, shop, or other
buildini- within the city limits of tho City of Port Townsond,
that cannot be occupied or ranted and is offansivo to the sight

`tee. 2.That whenlvor it shall appear to the satisfaction of
the chief of the fire department that any of the nuisances enumer-
ated in section one hereof exist, he
-m notify the owner, losses, occupant, or agent for such owner,
lessee or occupant, of any premises on 17"ich such nuisance or

Sec. 3. All costs and expenses attendinf the abatement of
such nuisanoe shall be collected as fines and penalties, and if
any such person becoming liable for the payment of such costs and
expenses as horoinbefore provided, shall fail or refuse to pay
the same within trlenty-four hours after demand made by the city
marshall, he shall be deemed guilty of,a misdemeanor and shall
be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars or -by im-
prisonmont not over ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Sec.4This ordinance shall take offset and be in force from and after
five days after publication in the Daily Leader.
