Top Ten Lists for 2023 e. Internet Policy Update and CIPA a. Library Director Updates Discussed successful completion of library building projects with the bathroom remodel and the new annex windows. Gave a project overview of the Pink House Renovation for 2024. b. Art Donation The Board made a motion and voted unanimously to support the donation of the Emily Carr Statue and thank the donor, Libby Atkins for her generosity. c. Community Read Discussed the book On the Way to the End of the World by Adrianne Harun, partnerships, and exciting month of programs for March 2024 all on the library's website https://ptpubliclibraEy.org/library/page/community-read d. Top Ten Lists for 2023 Keith Darrock shared the lists with the Board as a way to show what has been of interest in the community and demonstrate library utilization for the previous year. e. Internet Policy Update and CIPA Weaver and Darrock gave an overview of the LibTech program, CIPA, and what is needed to be CIPA complaint. The Library is already following CIPA and needs more explicit language in the Internet Policy. An update policy will be presented to LAB at the April meeting.
