Port Townsend Main Street Program
The Main Street HUD Loan Committee met April 28, 2009 to review two applications
submitted. The Bishop Hotel sprinkler system project was approved for $40,000 and the
committee recommends that the project be approved by The City Council.
The project at the Kuhn Building owned by Duncan Kellogg was also approved in the
amount of $40,000. This includes a seismic upgrade of the back deck, seismic
stabilization of the rear of the building and replacement of dangerous stairs. The
committee recommends that the project be approved by The City Council.
Enclosed are the applications and original photos. We would appreciate their return after
you are finished with them.
