THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1_. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1508, as amended by Ordinance No. 1657a~d Ordinance No. 1791, is here and hereby amended to read as followsz "Section 3. As to all classes of sewage service, as defined in section 2 of this ordinance, the monthly rate of $7.50 shall be paid; provided, that any commercial user using in excess of 10,000 gallons of water per month, the majority of which is being introduced into the sanitary sewer system, shall pay an amount pro rata to such use, as may be determined by the sewer uperintendent. In the event any property owner or owners shall require an unusually large use of the sewer system, special rates for such user may be fixed by agreement with the City without the necessity for ame~ziing this ordinance. The rates herein provided may be made subject to such discounts, reductions or revisions as may be provided by ordinance and state law for elderly or handicapped citizens." Section .... 2. This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1981, after passage, approval and publication as required by law.
