HomeMy WebLinkAbout1875 Amending Ordinance 1138 - Garbage Collection RatesORDINANCE NO. 1 '75 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1138 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1138, and amended by Ordinance No. 1347, Ordinance No. 1425, Ordinance No. 1656 and Ordinance No. 1737 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 6. The rates to be charged for garbage collection shall be as follows: Residential Single Can Weekly $3.60 Residintial Two cans Weekly 5.90 Residential Additional Weekly Cans 1.80 Residential Packout Fee Weekly (25 ft) .90 Residential Extra Grabage Occasional 1.30 Commercial Single Can Varied Commercial Two Cans Varied Commercial Additional Varied Cans Commercial Packout Fee Varied Commercial Extra Garbage Varied Commercial One Yd. Varied Dumpster Commercial One yd. Weekly Dumpster Commercial 1½ yd. Varied Dumpster Commercial 1½ yd Dumpster Weekly Commercial 2 yd. Dumpster Varied Commercial 2 yd. Dumpster Weekly ommercial 30 yd. Dropbox Varied Commercial Dumpster Demoorage Commercial Dropbox Demoorage (25 ft) 1.00 1.50 1.00 .90 1.00 5.20 22.50 7.80 33.70 10.40 45.00 .76.00 8.00 57.50 In cases where collection is required of a type or manner not provided by the foregoing schedule, a charge based upon the rates approved for the collector by the State of Washington shall be applied." Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1981, after passage, approval and publication.
