HomeMy WebLinkAbout1888 Creating a Library Services and Construction Act Grant FundORDINANCE NO. 1888 AN ORDINANCE CREATING A LIBRARY SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION ACT GRANT FUND; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $23,825.00; AN~ ~ECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section~l. A fund entitled "Library Services and Construction Act Grant Fund" is here and hereby created. Section 2. The sum of $23,825.00 is here and hereby appropriated to the Library Services Construction and Act Grant fund as supplemental to the 1981 budget of the City of Port Townsend to be spent in the manner described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto as though fully setforth herein. Section 3. There is here and hereby found and declared to be an emergency requiring the foregoing appropriations to the said 1981 Budget of the City of Port Townsend. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval, and publication in the form and manner provided by law. Read for the first time July 7, 1981. Read for the ~econd and third times, passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on July 21, 1981.
