B. Approval of Minutes: August 4, 2008 and August 18, 2008
C. Resolution 08-034, authorizing the City Manager to sign the Public Infrastructure
Fund (PIF) grant agreement with Jefferson County for the design and construction
of the Downtown Historic Streetscape Project.
D. Resolution 08-035, authorizing the City Manager to sign the Public Infrastructure
Fund (PIF) grant agreement with Jefferson County for the design and construction
of the Upper Sims Way (SR20) and Howard Street Improvements Project.
Action: Motion to adopt the consent agenda or request to remove any individual item
from the consent agenda.

A. Ordinance 2981, Pedestrian Safety and Prohibiting Bicycles, Skateboards and
Other Vehicles on Certain Sidewalks

Action: Move for second reading and adoption of Ordinance 2981, adding to the
municipal code a new chapter regulating the operation of bicycles, skateboards
and other wheeled vehicles, and providing prohibitions on their use on certain
sidewalks, and amending Chapters 10.32 – bicycles, and repealing Chapter 10.40
skateboards and roller-skates, to repeal inconsistent sections, and providing
penalties.
B.Ordinance 2988, Amending Ch. 1.20 PTMC Relating to Code Enforcement

Action: Move for second reading and adoption of Ordinance 2988,
Amending the Port Townsend Municipal Code Chapter 1.20 Code
Administration and Enforcement, Adding Definitions of Violation and
Provisions Relating to Persons Responsible for Violations, and Penalties
for Damage to Significant Trees.
IX. New Business
A. Ordinance 2991, Fixing and Adopting 2009 Property Tax Levies with an
Increase of Twenty Six and Seven Tenths Percent (26.70%) for the General Levy
and an Increase of One Percent (1%) for the Emergency Medical Services Levy.

Action: Move to approve first reading of Ordinance 2991, Fixing and Adopting
