HomeMy WebLinkAbout1896 Establishing Advance Travel Expense Revolving Fund AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ADVANCE TRAVEL EXPENSE REVOLVING FUND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is here and hereby established an "Advance Travel Expense Revolving Fund? Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer shall be designated as custodian of this fund in the amount of $500.00 to be deposited in a separate checking account by issuance of a treasurers check. Thereafter, the Clerk-Treasurer shall deposit all refunds from officers and employees of any unexpended advances and warrants issued for travel expenses allowed in the settlement of employee advances. All disbursements from this fund shall be in accordance with provisions established by the Office of State Auditor for the State of Washington. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
