THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1885 is here and hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1. Upon application made by a nonprofit public service organization which is engaged in the conduct of any fair, show, festival or other publically attended entertainment of celebration, which entertainment is not of a political, religious or commercial nature, the City Council may delegate to the applicant the authority to license sales of goods and services in and upon public streets and places which are included within the area in which such activities of the applicant transpire; provided, however, that such permit shall not be granted for more than ten days to any applicant, or agent or subsidiary of an applicant, within one calendar year." Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication, in the form and manner provided by law. Passed April 6, 1982.
