Home My WebLink About1927A Amending Ordinance 1908 - Flood Damage Prevention ORDINANCE NO. l~Z7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1908 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4.2.1 (3) of Ordinance No. 1908 is hereby repealed. Section 2. Section 5.2 of Ordinance No. 1908 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.2. In all areas of special flood hazards where base flood elevation data has been provided, the provisions of Sections 5.2.2 through 5.2.3 shall be required." Section 3. Section 5.2.2 (3) of Ordinance No. 1908 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.2.2 (3). be certified by a registered professional e~ineer or architect that the standards of this section (5.2. 2 (3)) are satisfied." Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval and as required by law. Read for the first, second and third times, passed and approved on September 2~, 1982.
