The emphasis for this age group is on kindergarten readiness and fostering a love of reading. Young children and their caregivers share fun rhymes and songs and very short stories. The emphasis is on modeling for caregivers how to build literacy skills in very young children. The emphasis is on modeling and teaching simple games, rhymes, songs and sign language that can help build very early literacy.
