The -minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence: Various letters were read concerning the progress
of the x"01 program and a telegram from Senator Henry Jackson sated
January loth stating that the Pt.T. application had been approved

Clark, of Clark,Coleman & Ruepeks , gave a talk on what had been
accomplished under Phase one ofthe play and that the second phase
starting noir would cover bldg. permit historiest information on all
commercial floor areas, updating school information, parking survey
of downtown area, traffic counts on local arterials and population
anaylsis.
Phil Copps stated that no firm date has been set as yet for the Design
for Vlashington conference but that it would be a 2-county conference.
Building permits were discussed and Marylou Green stated that the
City Council had asked the Plan. Com. for recommendation on a
Car Wash going in on Sims Way, owner Join Day, 48000&00 costs
phone vote was taken - 1 yes vote, 1 no vote and 5 no votes until
they know more about it regarding plans, se a4ge s setback figures,
type of building etc*
Gail Stuart made a motion seconded by Mary Johnson that the City
Council be requested to submit a plan when requesting Planning
Commission recommendations - cwd
Phil Copps stated . that the County Planning Commission is waiting
for federal money to continue the program.
Gail Stuart made the motion and Phil Copps seconded that the Third
Phase application o the Pt.Towns end 701 program be drafted and
set in motion by Olark,Coleman & Rupeiks. Cd.
