PORT To WN SEND PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
The meeting was called to order. Members present were: Mr. efts
Mr- Copps., Mrs. Green., fir. Lingquist and Dr. Chuljian. Guests were:

Mr. Wegg started his speech by asking questions Is Pt#Townsend and

it is illegal. .
County - Port - School and City should get together on comprehensive
P lan.
Letter dated Jure 20 from Allen N. de Laubenf .s Regi onal Planner
of D,, pt. of Commerce and Economic Development to the Mayor was
read by the secretary.
.Chu1 airy stated that the . . . s of Planning should be printed
to educate the public. He also stated that Sean,- Roebuck & Co. has
put out many brochures on Planning that are free for the asking,,
Mr. Copps stated that Puget Sound Power & Light has a film on
Planning. 1t compares two towns - one vho planned and one mho
icin t t and what happens. The Mayor and the Planning Comm* were
quite interested and asked for a showing in the near future.
Planning Commission members are to meet next week and rake plans
for a Joint meeting with the City Councile
