I. Opening Business
Members present were Larry- Dennison., Jim Campbell., Julie McCulloch, Heidi
Rodghier B312 Henderson, and John Floyd. C '31. an Floyd declared it a
quorum. Also present was City Engineer Roger French and secretary Virginia

Heidi Rodghier moved that the minutes be •approved as -written, Jim Campbell
seconded the -motion and it passed unanimously.

The--applicant--wishes --to have Sherman St. vacated between 9th and 10th
Streets as no need e 'sts for this street to be opened and it ib s a mess
of grass and -weeds-- in his, opinibry.
Mr. Rogers was aske(f to state his reasons publicly why he TAashed to have

this vacatim, He stated he had owned this property 2 yrs. and that this
unimproved street was used only as walking space', was half cleared and he
wished to clean it up and fence it.

Campbell seconded the motion and a*.t passed"unanimously.
Chairman' Floyd. said the c 0=3 SM1 will hold a public meeting on May 14
durimg the workshop meeting. He also asked the Comprehensive Plan
CoTmnittee to study the 'vacation plan and be ready to share their findings
with the c ssion,

Jude McCulloch- gave- -the legislative couan3:ttse findings for this proposed
change* She stated-that this was a compatliablew? -use -witrh other*-Gurrentlyr

that this admendment be commended for approval to the City- Council.
Mr. Daniels was present and stated he needed to hone t s ordinance changed
