Chairian Floyd called the meeting to order at 8eOO P,'1.
'embers present were Jean Canfield, Jim Campbell, Larry
Dennison, Heidi Rodeghier, Bill Henderson, Julie McCulloch
and Jahn Floyd.

Fr. W. Isley balked of the proposed condomi' ni* ums with Commission.
He stated they would, if approved, be a row house design, consist-
ink of b units ion conjunction with an eixistinp� single family home
at Jackson and Franklin Streets. There iAiould be no view impact
as the units viould be positioned at a lower level than existing
homes ,, The units would share 11 guest parking spaces in addition
to the i*ndividual parking* The project would have city water
and sewer. Storm run-off planned within slice.

that their view would not be obstructed with these units by ;�r.

as long as the units were vyi* thin the ordinance, there was no
recourse .
Chairman Floyd read a letter from Er, and Mrs . Swearingen to
the Commission exPressing; their opposition to the condominiums
because they would obstruct view, increase traffic and add
an additional fire hazard.
.Oft :;r. Isley and Mr. Pedersen explained their plan for landscaping,

that since this project w1kas only being reviewed for preliminary
approval, that these concerns be met for the final pkat approval.
Larry Dennison moved that Application Number I180-.41 be recommended
for preliminary approval. as it meets criteria established by
Section 6.00 aftq of City Ordinance 1b7�, with the following
stipulations ; that this commission receive some information
documented or sol}. that complies with Section 8.03 ,w that
applicant dive more consideration to section 8.07; and that
any use of Franklibn St. for other than access to the proposed
project shall be subject to approval by the City Street Superin-
tendent prior to final plat approval. Jim Campbell seconded the
motion and it passed unanimously,,

Chairman Floyd adjourned the meeting at 9,:30 P.1o'.,:, and reminded
the Commission that the next regular meeting was January 2g, 1981.
