The City Council of the City of Port Townsend met in special
session this Twenty-seventh day of July, 1994, at 5:00 PM in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor John M Clise presiding.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present at Roll Call were Bill Davidson, Dan
Harpole, Julie McCulloch, Diane Perry-Thompson, Ted Shoulberg,
Robert Sokol, and Sheila Westerman. Also present were Clerk-
Treasurer David Grove, Acting City Attorney Mary Winters, Director
of Planning and Building Michael Hildt and Public Works Director
Robert Wheeler.
Mayor Clise announced that this meeting was a continuation of the
July 18, 1994 Council Meeting.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Clise recessed the meeting into Executive Session to discuss
possible litigation including Michael Hildt and Robert Wheeler at
5:10 PM. The meeting was reconvened at 6:15 PM.
Mr tlise stated that Councilmember Sokol had left the meeting at
6:00 PM.
Councilmember Shoulberg made a motion that the Port Townsend City
Council submit a petition to file an appeal on Jefferson County's
Aquifer Recharge Ordinance, and that the petition deal with the
Critical Areas Ordinance and the sections dealing with Aquifer
Recharge and other associated areas that deal with recharge which
was seconded by Councilmember Davidson and passed unanimously by
voice vote.
At the request of Mr Hildt the Public Hearing for the Tides Inn
Expansion was postponed until September 6, 1994.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Clise declared the meeting
adjourned at 6:15 PM.
