Solid Waste Collection RFP Addendum #3

appropriate place on your Form 5, Certification.
Notices:
1.The City is interested in future food waste diversion opportunities that
may or may not be part of the City’s collection contract that is the subject
of this Request for Proposals. The City will discuss revisions to the draft
contract with the selected Proposer during finalization to clarify that
source-separated food scrap collection may be implemented at a future
date and may or may not be part of the main collection contract. In the
event that a food waste collection program is implemented, the City and
Contractor will agree to re-evaluate garbage container weights and make
rate adjustments accordingly.
This notice is not expected to have a material effect on Proposers’
submittals and no food scrap collection element is requested as part of
any proposal submitted in response to the RFP. This information is being
provided to Proposers solely to reserve the right of the City to implement
this potential future program.
