Special Provisions
1-07.23(1) Construction Under Traffic
Section 1-07.23(1) is supplemented with the following:

Lane closures are subject to the following restrictions:
*** The City will allow for a maximum of a 3 -week period the closing of
one lane of traffic, westbound on Jefferson Street and southbound on Quincy
Street (i.e. inbound to downtown). The Contractor will be required to allow
access to the dental clinic, the chapel and the Bishop Hotel throughout the
project and during the duration of the closure period. ***
If the Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic,
the Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the
Contractor in writing of any change in the closure hours.
8-05 Joint Utility Trench (New Section)
Section 8-05 is deleted in its entirety.
