NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AMENDMENTS TO PTMC CHAPTER 20.04 PORT TOWNSEND
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS
AMENDMENT PROCESS
On Thursday, December 14, 2017, at or about 6:30 p.m., the Port Townsend
Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider procedural
amendments to the Port Townsend Municipal Code Chapter 20.04
Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations. The City of Port Townsend
proposes amendments to 1) improve consistency with the Growth Management
2) allow subarea plans which clarify, supplement, or implement jurisdiction-wide
comprehensive plan policies to be processed separately from the annual update
process; 3) minor clarifying edits.
Persons wishing to testify before the Planning Commission may do so either by
submitting verbal testimony during the public hearing or by submitting written
comments in advance of the hearing to the City Clerk, 250 Madison Street, Suite
2, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
