NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
STREET VACATION OF HOWARD STREET
The Port Townsend City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, October 2,
2017 at or about 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend,
WA, to accept public testimony on vacating the west 30 feet of an unopened section of
Howard Street right-of-way lying immediately east of Block 4 within the Swan Park
Addition to the City of Port Townsend.The street vacation proposal is sought by Amy
Jordan (Application No. LUP17-068). The subject right-of-way lies west of the Port
Townsend Business Park, between unopened 9th and 10th Streets in the Upper Sims
Way area of Port Townsend.
Persons wishing to testify to the City Council may do so either by submitting oral
testimony during the public hearing, or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk
(jsanders@cityofpt.us, 250 Madison Street, Suite 2, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
Written comments must be received by the close of the public hearing on October 2,
2017. Anyone wishing to inspect the application itself (LUP17-068) may do so at the
Development Services Department (DSD) on the third floor of City Hall. Persons with
