: Water Street Enhancement Project - Community Open House
Title
The Water Street Enhancement Project spans from Taylor Street to the Ferry
Terminal. Construction will be January through June 2018. Project benefits will
include pavement replacement, watermain replacement, sewer line replacements,
sidewalk widening, street tree additions and replacement, drainage improvements,
transit stop improvements, public space and seating improvements, and moving
overhead utilities underground (the PUD will complete by 2020).
Please join us and provide input on the Water Street Enhancement Project!

Wednesday, August 9 at 4:30-7:00pm
Where:
The Cotton Building - 607 Water Street
Why:
This is an opportunity to review the Water Street Enhancement Project final
plans and provide comments to city staff. Display boards will be available,
highlighting the project’s features. City staff will also be present to answer
questions and give updates. The public may give input on the gateway features,
parking, signs, striping, trees….and more. There will also be an opportunity to
comment on improvements to downtown in general.
