Old Business: 1. Discussion of hardscaping within the City with a
subcommittee formed to develop a comprehensive
list of items to be discussed with outcome suggestions
directed to DSD Director for discussion with full HPC.

2. Discussion of Sign Code changes (J. McDonagh)
concerning free speech issues.
New Business: Discussion of HPC 2014 Work Plan
Items: Window Guidelines: Complete and forward to DSD
Director
Solar Guidelines: Complete and forward to DSD
Director
Hardscaping: HPC to develop guidelines to be presented
to DSD Director for discussion. Agreed items
to be presented to CDLU Committee. If
approved, items to be forwarded to City
Council for discussion and possible approval.
Lincoln Building: J. McDonagh reported DAHP states that
the building is historic and that the PTSD
has advertized for a RFP to rehab the
building.
Announcements: R. Russell gave info concerning the Arts Commission
commissioning artist for design and placement of a usable
art piece/structure to be placed at the Uptown Community
Center.
