TWEEN COOK AVENUE AND PEARY AVENUE, WITHIN THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND; ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS TO THE
STREET VACATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That that portion of Virginia Place, formerly
knoWn as Jefferson Place, lying between Cook Avenue and Peary
Avenue, together with all of the western portion of the Fowler's
Park Addition Plaza, lying between Cook Avenue and Peary Avenue,
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2: That the street vacation aforementioned is con-
ditioned, however, upon the following:
(A) Ail fees and compensation pursuant to Chap-
ter 12 of the Port Townsend Municipal Code must be paid by the
street vacation applicant to the City Treasurer prior to the re-
cording of this ordinance with the Jefferson County Auditor.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect upon its pass-
age, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by
law, and after its being recorded with the Jefferson County
Auditor pursuant to Section 2 (A) of this ordinance.
Read the first, second and third time~, passed by the City
Council for the City of Port Townsend on ~. ;L t? . , 1988,
and signed by the Mayor of the City on ~IL ~,~ , 1988.
