MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING OF JANUARY 13, 2014
CALL TO ORDER
The Port Townsend City Council met for a workshop meeting on January 13, 2014 in the Cotton Building
at 607 Water Street. The meeting was called to order at 6:39 p.m., by Mayor David King.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present at roll call were Pamela Adams, Robert Gray, David King, Kris Nelson, Catharine
Robinson, Michelle Sandoval, and Deborah Stinson
Staff members present were City Manager David Timmons, City Attorney John Watts, Interim Finance
Director Bob Jean, Public Services Director Rick Sepler, and Deputy City Clerk Joanna Sanders.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
City Manager David Timmons identified the goal to come up with a three-year strategic planning
process.
Facilitator Casey Reeter led Council through values, vision, and mission statement brainstorming
exercises as outlined in the agenda materials. The situation analysis brainstorming would be
accomplished at the next Council workshop. Ms. Reeter would return at a future meeting with a written
one-page strategic plan based on the input given.
ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
