HomeMy WebLinkAbout120169Dec 1, 1969 Trustees of the Port Townsend Public Library met on Monday. Dec. l.st, at 12:15 P.M:u Present were Chr Fottho.ff, Mrs Crist, Mrs Hunt and Mrs Wallin. Vouchers were 3igned for the month of November. Members discussed the Budget for 1970, and reviewed the various proposed increases in the different Funds. Indications are that Council., will not grant a Special Ordinance Request for extra Help Fund, so this Fund probably will be around twelve hundred dollars less than last year. The.i.r reasoning is that the library is not open sufficient b -Qurs to serve the public to warrant this amount in Extra Help. Also increases must be made in the Police and Garbage Departments, and money is very short. Dr Chuljian attended the Open meeting of the City Council in November, and presented our case.
