HomeMy WebLinkAbout080365August 3, 1965 0 Trustees of Library meet August 3rd. Members present were Chr. Deits, Mr Pothoff, Dorothy Hunt, Miss Rutledge. Minutes of the July meeting were read and approved. Miss Rutledge gave the librarian's report, which is on file. She in�- formed us of the progress being made in the :porting of materisl in the basement. Mrs Scov has been assisting; her, and has been of great help. She reminded the Board members that she wishes to leave her position here at the library, by Sept. lst, as she has planned a Journey with friends. Miss Rutledge also informed us that Miss Baumeister wishes to take her vacation in October. The Board member's reviewed the possible prospects for a librarian. To date there has been little response to adve°tisements, except for older or retired persons. Mrs Janet Danielson, a mother with five small children has been our most recent applicant. However, there has been no response from Mrs Danielson in regard to our offer of a position. Mr Deits reviewed the hours spent by the boy sho cares for the lawn, as the care given does not seem adequate. Miss Rutledge to speak with him, Meeting adjourned 2:15 P.T0,
