Special Board Meeting
November 11, 1986
Present: Cheryl Van Dyke, Sue Sidle, Anne Steurer
1. The current status of 1986 expenditures was discussed, Bev will
have accurate figures and year -end projections by the November 25
meeting.
2. The building plans will be presented to the City Council on November
18th during their regular meeting. Cheryl will arrange with
David for us to be on the agenda.
3. A meeting with the Board and the Finance Committee will be scheduled
to discuss library salaries and strategies for bringing up to parity
with other city departments.
4. There is a need to set up salary scales/ step raises/ annual
evaluation systems, and other long -range personnel matters.
5. The Jefferson County Library Board will be invited to the reception
for Bev on the 19th.
8. The Board will set up the annual retreat at the November 25 meeting.
• 7. Budget hearings are Monday December 1 at 7:00 p . m .
8. Bev will develop a form patrons can use to request specific titles
be added to the collection.
