BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Regular meeting December 21, 1987
Call to order 7:30 pm; quorum present.
Sign vouchers. Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Librarian described progress of Janet's grant; will be a
Career Week in January. Grant has not been renewed.
Description of project with City on Corridor development.
Budget: discussion of handling of year —end funds, followed by:
MOTION: To approved payment for periodicals from existing funds.
MOTION: Bev authorized to buy modem, and make other purchases
within limits of remaining funds. Both motions made and carried.
Committees: Personnel Committee on Job Descriptions.
After discussion:
MOTIONS made and carried to approved Job Descriptions for:
Children's Librarian
Inter—library loan officgr, as revised
Library Assistant
Children's Library Assistant
Library Page.
Salary amounts and steps: after discussion, new committee appointed
to report at next meeting: Lars Watson and Gwen Howard.
Building — work needed to keep plaster from falling from ceiling;
Librarian will follow up.
Adjourn 10 :00 pm.
