Librarian: Have new MODEM for computer, more capabilities. - Career Program: funding for continuing. School use may justify contribution; dis=ssions with school will continue, - Asbestos inspection by Mill employee. May be only on furnace pipes. Will get written report. - Budget, no problems. Continuing discussion of ways to carry -over funds. Committees: no report on personnel. - On Salaries, special meeting desirable; tentative June 13. - Building: Bob Little is checking on leaks. Hall lights will be replaced, old ones unsafe. - Budget: on agenda in June. - Staff: Bev suggests a board member attend staff meeting after regular board meeting. Grant for Building: if Blue House is acquired, main -floor plan of new building must be flipped over. Question of handling this ongrant application. Perhaps best option is to specify not more than 60 days after award, to make the plan final, one way or the other. - Discussion of wording of fund sources, and of City pledge. - Bev says need to decide on numbers on application; balancing grant amount against funded total. - Sue thinks the $800,000 total for project is stir, viable number for use on application. Old Business: - Wenatchee meeting; who will attend? Staff not interested. Probably Sue, Lars and Lucille. -- Annual Report to City Council - will be done after work ran grant, probably mid -May. - WallaWalla meeting - logistics are being arranged4 - Eleanor "s retirement - Reception April 24.
