REGULAR BOARD MEETING
February 22, 1988
Call to Order 7 :15 pm. Sign vouchers.
EPK report on history of circulation, city and county libraries.
Feb. financial report; charge machine the large item.
Sue — on City resolution, wording, meeting.
Committhes: March 4, Gov's wife in town and at library, Diamond Jubilee.
Medieval Feast planning, enough tickets already sold to go ahead.
Librarian to be on vacation.
March 99 party 5 -7 pm. at Salal for business people; input on
services to business, etc.
April 18, Friends' meeting
Grant application due April 22.
Gwen, on meeting with citizens; certificates for business,
donations of $100 or more.
Bev: regarding Eleanor's retirement; options under new conditions.-
Special meeting with Staff, informal, sometime in April.
Grant application package. Question of asbestos on walls. Sampling
and analysis need eventually. Bev will find out how to do.
Policies;
Computer use. Motion -- to allow free use of computer, with
required supervision.
Motion — on Resource sharing policy.
Discussion of fund contribution control, compliance with IRS requiremenents.
