Port Townsend Arts Commission
November 6,2013, 3pm, Upstairs Meeting Room,City Hall
Members Present:
Stan Rubin (Chair), Kris Morris, Linda Okazaki, Laureen Martin, Dan Groussman (minutes)

Motion: for approval of October minutes as amended by KM, seconded by LM, unanimous approval.
Chair Report: SR reports that EF was notable to attend the meeting today.The PT Film Festival offered
thanks to the PTAC and SR presented their publication to The Commission to see. The report from
Janette Force said that 1,547 seats were filled cumulatively over the 3 days of the event.
Songwriting Works was contacted by SR in regards to the submission of their expenditure
documentation. Judith-Kate Friedman reported that since they had more than one event she had
intended on submitting all the receipts at one time-she said they will be submitted soon.
SR discussed the open seats on the Arts Commission and he presented two applicants' applications.
SR directed DG to contact Cliff Wood regarding the Angel and Patron of the Arts DVD to make
corrections so that we may get a copy to the award winners and to post on our web site.
Budget:
Commissioners worked to reconcile our working budget spreadsheet with the City's payout records to
best ascertain how we stand financially heading in to our last meeting of the year. We anticipate some
funding support requests in December.
