The Board reconvened at 6 :30 p.m. Les discussed the presentation he planned to make to the City Council. The Board reviewed the alternates as presented by Les. It was moved and seconded to approve the figures for changes, deletions, and alternates ( see attached) in order to go out for bid Motion passed. It remains to prioritize them. $ 700 a. Substitute a solid stair rail for the balusters. 1,200 b. Substitute rubber base for wood baseboard throughout. 3,600 C. Skylight and ceiling glazing. 3,600 d. Substitute flat for raised ceiling in library room. 3,000 e. One pair of windows on east and west sides are optional. 2,400 f. Hook drop optional. 1,800 g. Back porch optional. 6,000 h. Cornice work with two simpler options. 1,800 i. Rolling grille optional. 1,200 jl. Lavatory sink in staff toilet. The following items are to be additive alternates to possibly be provided by "in kind" work in the community. 3,000 k. Paint Gypsum Wall Board. 9,000 1. Circulation Desk. 2,400 M. Shelving in Work Room. 1,400 n. Cabinet in Staff Room. The following items are to be deleted altogether, and to be done by a work party. 1,800 0. Remove Ramp 3,000 p.
