ORDINANCE NO. ~17~
AN ORDINANCE relating to a prior street vacation,
amending Ordinance 1672 to establish the location of a
certain easement in vacated Morrison Street.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
follows:
Section 4 of Ordinance 1672 is hereby amended as
Section 4. There is here and hereby reserved in
each and all of the portions of street vacated by this
ordinance easements in and to the City of Port
Townsend, its assigns and successors, for the
installation, construction and maintenance of water,
sewer and utility lines of all kinds; provided, that
sa~d easement.in.vacated Morrison Street between
Washington Street and Jefferson.Street shall.lie
northeasterly of the centerline of said vacated street.
Section 2. A certified copy of this ordinance shall be
recorded by the City Clerk in the office of the Jefferson County
Auditor.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force five (5) days after publication of the attached summary
which is hereby approved.
