AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND WAGES
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1990
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN FOLLOWS:
Section 1. From and after January 1, 1990, the salaries of
the following city employees are fixed not to exceed the following
sums, which salaries shall be paid monthly:
Mayor ............................... $1,000.00
City Attorney ....................... 1,751.50
Police Chief ........................
Fire Chief ..........................
Water Superintendent ................
Director of Planning and Building...
Planner II ..........................
Planner I ...........................
Administrative Assistant ............
3,031.67

1,631.67
Ail other salaries shall remain as preViously established.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second, and third times, passed by the
Council and approVed by the Mayor on January 2, 1990.
