AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2181 OF
THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, AND ESTABLISHING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O~ PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOL'EOWS:
Section 1. SeCtion 1 of Ordinance 2181 is here and hereby
amended to read as follows:
"That the City of Port Townsend does here and hereby
name and designate the following described property (~gh~-eg-wm~)
within the City as Waterfront Place, to wit:
%e-e~&~ey-2%~ee%.) That portion of the northwesterly 25 feet
of Lots 1, 3, 5, and 7, Block 6, Original Townsite of the
City of Port Townsend, which lies northwesterly of the
Jackson Bequest Memorial Park; and extending from Madision
Street to ~uincy Street, PROVIDED HOWEVER, that said pro-
perty shall remain the property of th~City of Port Townsend
and this orindance shall not be construed in any way as a
grant or dedication of any part of said lands as or for a
street or alley or other public right-of-way.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its pas-
sage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the City
Council for the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor on
