HomeMy WebLinkAbout062413 CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF JUNE 24, 2013 CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Port Townsend City Council met in special session on the twenty-fourth day of June, 2013 in the Council Chambers at 540 Water Street. Mayor David King called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. ROLL CALL Councilmembers present at roll call were Robert Gray, David King, Kris Nelson, Catharine Robinson, Michelle Sandoval, Deborah Stinson, and Mark Welch. Staff members present were City Manager David Timmons, City Attorney John Watts, and City Clerk Pam Kolacy. EXECUTIVE SESSION - PERSONNEL (UNDER RCW 42.30.110(1) (F) TO EVALUATE COMPLAINTS AGAINST AN EMPLOYEE). At 6:32 p.m., Mayor King announced that the Council would adjourn to Executive Session in the third floor conference room of the City Hall Annex. Subject of the session under RCW 42.30.110 (1)(f) is to evaluate complaints against an employee. He stated that the anticipated time of the Executive Session was 60 minutes and that no action would be taken after the meeting. At 7:42 p.m., City Attorney Watts returned and announced that the Executive Session would be extended for approxmately 25 more minutes. At 7:52 p.m., the meeting was reconvened.
