AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND WAGES
AND NEW POSITIONS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1990
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, From and after October 1, 1990, the salaries of
the following city employees are fixed not to exceed the following
sums, which salaries shall be paid monthly:
Planning & Building Assistant I
Planning & Building Assistant II
Public Works Assistant I
Public Works Administrative Asst.
$1,386.67
1,516.67
1,386.67
1,667.00
Ail other salaries shall remain as previously established.
Section 2, From and after October 1, 1990, the following
additional positions are here and hereby approved as a supplement
to the number of positions approved when the 1990 budget for the
City of Port Townsend was approved in December of 1989:
Planning & Building Department
Planning and Building Assistant I
Public Works
Public Works Administrative Assistant
Public Works Assistant I
Street Department
Maintenance Worker
Section 3.. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval, and publication in the form and manner provided by law.

Read for the first, second, and third times, passed by the
