A~-z~ AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE REGULATION OF A~{BULANCE SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND BY A2~NDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2199 AND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NOS. 2203 AND 2213 PERTAINING TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF ORDINANCE NO. 2199 WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 2199 regulat- ing ambulance service within the City, to be effective September 1, 1990, Ordinance 2203 establishing November 1, 1990, as the ef- fective date, and Ordinance 2213 establishing January 1, 1991, as the effective date in amendment to Ordinance 2199, and ~EREAS, the City Council desires that the effects of such regulations be further studied and reviewed, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOI~!- SEND, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2199 is here and hereby amended to read as follows: "The effective date of this Ordinance shall be ($ep~embe~-t~-t990) (NeYembe~-t~-t990) (~am~a~y-t) March 1, 1991, or following its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law, whichever date is later." Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law. Read for the first, second and third time, passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and approved and signed by the Mayor of the City this 15th day of January, 1991. Attest: David~.
