STREET, LYING BETWEEN LOT 6, BLOCK 24, AND LOT
9, BLOCK 23. OF THE MOUNTAIN VIEW SECOND ADDi-
TIO~ TO THE CITY OF PORT TO~SEND AS PER PL&T
RECORDED IN VOLUME 2 OF PLATS, PAGE g, RECORDS
OF JEt.mESON COUNTY WASHINGTON; ESTABLISHING
CONDITIONS TO THE STREET VACATION AND AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOnE, SEND i13 REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SecTion 1. That ~hac pcr:ion of Quincy Street lying between
l.oc 6 of gtock 2~ and Lo~ 9 of Block 23 of nhe Mou~.~cain View Second
Addition-to ~he City of Porn Townsend, as oer plat recorded in Vol-
ume 2 of Plats, page a, records of jefferson County, Washington. be
and ~he same is hereby.vacated.
Section 2. That the street vacation aforementioned is condi-
tioned, however, on the following:
A. That as and for the fees and compensation re-
quired for the street vacation pursuann no Chapter 12 of the Port
Townsend Municipal Code, and for access, utilities, emergency vehi-
cle and turn-around purposes, the applicant shall dedicate land for
a ~urn-around area to the Northwes~ of the oortion of Quinc7 Street
herein vacated, the plan and description of which shall be approved
by the Fire Chief of :he City of Port Townsend.
Section 3. %~p.a= the aforementioned conditions shall fiz's~ be
sa~zsfie~, and upon satisfaction ~f ~he same =his ordinanc.~ may' be
published, and a certified copy of this ordinance shall then be re-
corded by the City Clerk with the Jefferson County Auditor, a~ which
time this ordinance shall be effective.
Section 4. That the street vacation provided for herein shall
be cancelled and become automatically null and void one year from
the date of this ordinance if said fees and compensation have no~
been paid by ~he applicant as set forth in Section 2 of this ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the for~ and manner provided by law, and
after it has been recorded with the Jefferson County Auditor pursuant
no Section 3 of this ordinance.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the City
Council for :he Ci:7 of Port Townsend and signed by the Ma7or of the

DEDICATION DEED
ti. Donald Bliss, a single man (Grantor), pursuant to approval
of City of Port Townsend Street Vacation Application 9001-08, and
for and in consideration as compensation for the street vacation
as set forth in City of Port Townsend Ordinance No. , does
hereby dedicate, grant, convey and assign to the City uT Port
Townsend, a municipal corporation and city of the third class
under the laws of Washington State (Grantee) and the public, the
following described property situate in the City of Port Townsend,
Jefferson County, Washington, for right-of-way, street, turn-
around, emergency vehicle and utility purposes:
A portion of Lot 12, Block 23, Mountain View Second Addition
to the City of Port Townsend, as per plat recorded in Volume 2 of
Plats, page 4, records of Jefferson County, Washington, which por-
tion is described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner
of Lot 12 where it abuts Quincy Street, thence Northwesterly along
the Easterly line of Quincy Street a distance of 10 feet to the
true Point of Beginning; thence Northeasterly on a line parallel
to the Southerly boundary of Lot 12 a distance of 30 feet; thence
Northwesterly on a line parallel to Quincy Street a distance of 20
feet; thence Westerly on a line parallel to the Southerly boundary
of Lot 12 a distance of 30 feet; thence Southerly on the Easterly
boundary of Quincy Street a distance of 20 feet, to the true Point
of Beginning.
Also, a portion of Lot 3, Block 23, Mountain View Second Addi-
tion to the City of Port Townsend, as per plat recorded in Volume
2 of Plats, page 4, records of Jefferson County, Washington, which
portion is described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast cor-
ner of Lot 3 where it abuts Quincy Street, thence Northwesterly
along the Westerly boundary of Quincy Street a distance of 10 feet
to the true Point of Beginning; thence Westerly on a line parallel
to the Southerly boundary of Lot 3 a distance of 30 feet; thence
Northwesterly on a line parallel to Quincy Street a distance of 20
feet; thence Northeasterly on a line parallel with the Southerly
boundary line of Lot 3 a distance of 30 feet; thence Southeasterly
on the Westerly boundary of Quincy Street a distance of 20 feet to
the true Point of Beginning.
Ail situate in the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County,
Washington.
