AN OP~INANCE REQUIRING APPLICATION FOR AND RE-
CEIPT OF A STREET ADDRESS FOR PREMISES PRIOR TO
THE PREMISES BEING CONNECTED TO THE CITY WATER
SYSTEM; REQUIRING ADDITIONAL INFO~{ATION FOR THE
WATER CONNECTION APPLICATION FOP=M; AMENDING SEC-
TION 3 OF ORDINANCE 1110; CORRECTING THE CODIFI-
CATION THEREOF SET FORTH IN SECTION 13.12.030 OF
THE PORT TOK~SEND MUNICIPAL CODE; AND ESTABLISH-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TO%~SEND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section t. Section 3 of Ordinance 1110, together with the in-
correct Codification thereof contained in Section 13.12.030 of the
Port Townsend Municipal Code, are each here and hereby amended to
read exactly as follows:
"13.12.030 Application for a Connection. Any per-
son desiring to have premises connected with the water supply sys-
tem of the City of Port Townsend shall first apply for and receive
a street address for the premises to be served in the manner pro-
vided by City Ordinance, and then shall present at the office of
the Water Department~ an application for the use of water upon a
printed form to be furnished for that purpose(~-w~ie~). The appli-
cation shall contain the description and the street address of the
premises where such water zs desired, such other information as the
Water Department may require~ on the iprinted form, (a~) shall
state fully and truly ail the purposes for which the water may be
required, and shall be signed by the owner of the oremises to be
served, and at the time of filing such application, the applicant
shall pay the City Treasurer, and take receiot therefor, the fees
for installation of water services hereinafter provided."
Section 2. Section 13.12.030 of the Port Townsend Municioal
Code, which purports to be a codification of Section 3 of Ordinance
!110~ but which codification by reason of tyoographical errors de-
leted portions of said Section 3, is hereby amended and directed to
be codified in the manner set forth in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect uoon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner orovided by law.
