AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND ESTABLISHING A SALARY FOR THE
POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. From and after December 4, 1991, the salary for the
temporary position of Director of Public Safety is here and hereby
fixed at ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) per month for up to ten
hours work per week of service. All hours in excess of ten hours
per week will be compensated at the wage of $15.00 per hour.
Section 2. Any and all actions taken pursuant to the authority of
this ordinance but prior to its passage are hereby ratified and
confirmed.
Read for the first, second, and third times, passed Dy the
council and approved by the Mayor on December 17, 1991.
