ORDINANCE NO. 2~E ~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 1790, AS AMENDED, TOGETHER WITH SECTION
2.04.010 OF THE PORT TOWNSEND MUNICIPAL CODE,
PROVIDING FOR AND CHANGING THE TIME AND PLACE
FOR REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
~ Section 2 or Ordinance No. 1790 as amended by
Ordinances 2216A and 2234, and Section 2.04.010 of the Port
Townsend Municipal Code is here and hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on
the first and third (4k~es~aye) Mondays of each month at
7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall at Port
Townsend, from and after the effective date of this
Ordinance. If any leqal holiday happens tO be a day
appoiDted for regular meetinqs of the city Council. such
meeting shal~ be deemed appointed for the next.day which
is not a leqal holiday."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after
April 1, 1992, following its passage, approval, and publication in
the form and manner provided by law.
READ for the first time on March 3, 1992. Read for the second and
third times, passed by the council, and approved by the Mayor on
March
