RESOLU1fION NO. 06-002
A RESOLUTION OF THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AMENDING CITY COUNCIL RULES OF PROCEDURE BY
ESTABLISHING CIT~ COUNCIL COMMITTEES
WHEREAS, the City Council dmermines it appropriate to amend the Council
committee structure to eliminate the Ge~ral Government Committee, and to create in its
stead a Public Safety Committee and a Public Works Committee, to support the Council
in its review of issues facing the City relating to public safety and public works.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend as follows:
1. The Council committee structure is hereby amended to eliminate the General
Government Committee, and to create in its stead a Public Safety Committee and
a Public Works Committee, to support the Council in its review of issues facing
the City relating to public safety and public works.
2. The City Clerk shall make neceS$ary changes to the Council Rules of Procedure.
to show the changes set forth in this Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council bfthe City of Port Townsend at a special
business meeting thereof, held this twen~-third day of January 2006.
