RESOL~TION # 06-003
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE ~006-2011 SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM TO CHANGE THE TITLE OF A PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE REVISED T.I.P.
TO THE STATE
WHEREAS, the City Council appr((lved the 2006-2011 Six Year Transportation
Improvement Program with Resolution No. rS-026 in June 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes the wlashington State Department of Transportation to
obligate funds from a Transportation Community and System Preservation (TCSP) grant which
was allocated to the City for the Historic Di~trict Streetscape and Transportation Improvements
Project; and
WHEREAS, those funds were shown on the 2006-2011 Six Year Plan as the Water
Street and Washington Street Project; and
WHEREAS, the project was titled on the 2006-2011 Six Year Plan the Historic District
Streetscape and Transportation ImprovemeJilts Project in order to be obligated by WSDOT for
TCSP grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE$OL VED by the City Council ofthe City ofPort
Townsend that the Mayor is hereby authori:(7;ed to sign this amendment resolution approving the
change to the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for 2006-2011 for submission to
the Washington State Department of Transportation.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this twenty-first day of February, 2006.
