AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TILE MAYOR TO ENTER
INTO THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
ADDITION TO THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING
PROPERTY OF THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor is here and hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the purchase of certain lands in the City of
Port Townsend, for the purpose of acquiring additional area for the
Public Works Building and grounds, which land is described as:
All of Block 62, less street right of way, in
Pettygrove's 2nd Addition to the City of Port
Townsend.
Section 2. The purchase price of said land shall be in the sum
of $ '3, 5�76, pd and shall be made from monies previously
appropriated by supplemental budget for the year 1973.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on October 2nd, 1973.
